Film-viewing dialogues have been a tradition at Inquiry since the 80s. Dr. Kaparo carefully chooses a film that acts as an entry point into the shared inquiry exploring archetypal themes and existential questions. She will give a talk introducing the theme and some somatic meditation through which to enter a state of deep listening with which to enter the inquiry.
After the film, she will orchestrate an understanding of the dialogue process as a mode of social meditations, and will facilitate the practices of dialogue in small groups as well as in the circle as a whole.
These films are carefully curated and segmented, and shown with state-of-the-art at-home theater equipment. The emphasis is on the participant's own live experience and inquiry. Each individual's growing capacity for creative, compassionate and empowered participation in a shared inquiry continues to be truly remarkable.
