CoPresencing℠: A Training in the Art of Social Meditation

The art of dialogue as social meditation enables you to develop a deep ecology of affect, the capacity to embody an intimacy with "what is.” Known as CoPresensing, this discipline is practiced in social, professional and psychotherapeutic contexts, or as a “dialogue with oneself.” This training also has profound implications for couples. It includes:

  • Somatic Meditations - beginning on the silent level, we enter into a series of meditations to awaken somatic intelligence, the finely tuned feedback system that is our birthright. This brings greater attunement to our own heart and enables you to open to a new depth of intimacy with another.
  • Social Meditations - working in dyads and in the group we refine our “listening” and learn to give voice to our experience without abandoning ourselves to communicate. We deepen our presence and allow it to flower through the many ways that meaning expresses itself.
  • Applications & Implications- we explore this mode of non-dual, social dialogue in its use in individual psychotherapy, couples counseling and organizational conflict resolution.

This relational yoga empowers you to participate creatively and compassionately so we no longer attempt to solve problems from the same level of thought that created them. CoPresencing supports the evolution of human consciousness by transcending these incoherencies in thought.
